Hull Seahorses Committee Members
Jacky, a born organiser, works tirelessly for the club putting in many hours making sure that all our trips go smoothly and most importantly getting the best deals around - many of us are poor hard up divers who like bargains and Jacky seems to find them for us. Unfortunately there is one thing you should know about her - she has a tendency to fall off her shoes late at night - usually when out socialising. You may not think that's too bad - but she normally doesn't have any on by that time! BUT She must be doing something right for the club as she has just been nominated Chair for the 8th year running!
Pete has also been a member of the club since day one. Pete is a PADI Dive master. He looks after all the membership forms and sends our reminders, vouchers, and newsletters. Pete will hold the weekly meetings if Jacky is unavailable. Pete loves his diving and doesn't care where or what the weather is like he just loves getting wet. Pete or Little Pete as we call him will normally be found at the end of the night a sleep at the bar, but he soon wakes up if someone is getting a round in! Sandie Green - Treasurer/Secretary
Sandie as you probably have gathered is married to Pete, she is an Advanced Diver. As you might have gathered by the title she looks after all the club money. Sandie also holds all the files on the trips, keeps the books that the club buy, business cards that come back from around the world from divers, and a lots more useful information. To hold all this together she has a big black briefcase which makes her look important - which she is, we couldn't operate with out her.
Pat is a non diver. More of a Grouper (meaning groupie as she always comes along with us for the social side of things). She goes on to prove that our club is a social club as well as a dive club. Pat helps with organising trips, promotion nights, social nights out and will help out where and when she can. Pat has now moved on from the stage of sitting on the beach watching people in the water and is the proud owner of her own mask, snorkel and fins and is on her way to being a very experienced snorkeller - watch this space for further developments
